I have taken quite a break from writing my journal and I apologize to all my fans. I have been very busy with work as well as with my training regimen. As I have mentioned before, I am getting ready for a figure show this summer (I haven't decided about the date yet) and as it is getting closer, I am getting more and more preoccupied with everything that needs to be improved. First of all, I have cut on teaching spin classes because I have been burning too many calories and I feel like I didn't give my muscles a chance to grow. As I have made this "small" adjustment, my weight training is getting more instense and I am able to lift heavier. Also, I increased the food intake to 5 times a day, losts of proteins, and a whey protein shake daily. I must admits it gives me so much more energy. I believe that the right diet and sleep are two very imporatnt components in successful training.
